locationLa Masia Casanova is located just 10km from the bustling social and beach life of Sitges and 40kms south of Barcelona, in the hills of the Penedès wine region. If you have an inquiry about the Masia or how to reach us from a different destination than listed below then please feel free to drop us an email info@masiacasanova.com or you can call us on 0034 93 818 8058.
La Masia Casanova can be reached by the following means: From Sitges to La Masia Casanova:From Sitges train station or the Tourist Office you can catch a taxi to the Masia. Most taxi drivers know where we are, so just ask until you find one who does or why not print out our map to show them. By Bus from Barcelona Airport:This is probably the easiest way to get to Sitges.
By Train from Barcelona Airport:Take the train to the first station called El Prat de Llobregat and change here for the train to Sitges. Get on a train that says VILANOVA G on the front. (Don't get on a train that says anything else) Watch the sign in the carriage, and listen for the woman to say "Propera parada, Sitges". (Please note that due to extensive construction work in readiness for the high speed AVE train link to Barcelona in 2007, the train link from the airport to El Prat and especially back, is very slow at the moment.) By Car from Barcelona Airport:Take the C-32 autopista and follow the signs to Tarragona and Sitges. After passing through a number of tunnels and a toll station, continue past the first 2 exits for Sitges and take exit 28 marked Sant Pere de Ribes. On the off ramp you will come to a small roundabout, take the first exit going towards Vilafranca del Penedè’s (C15-B ). Follow the road for 6km under a small tunnel and round some winding bends, past Restaurant Carnivor until you reach the signs for Can Roca and Les Americas. Take that left and continue over a small roundabout and up the hill until you reach the t-junction. Go left and then first right and follow the road up the hill to your right. You will then face a long concrete road in front of you or a sharp right bend. Go straight, up the unlit concrete hill. When you get to the top there is another steep hill in front of you. Take this up and follow it around the bend. Follow the road round to the right for about 100m then take the first left up another steep hill. This is our private road up to the Masia. We do advise anyone coming by car or taxi to print out these directions and the map. It really does help you find us, as we are tucked away on top of the mountain! |
